HABIT AND HABITAT
Minyas is a small marine, colonial, pelagic and floating sea anemone.
GENERAL CHARACTERSTICS OF MINYAS
- Body divided into 3 parts-oral disc, column and basal disc.
- Column is short.
- Basal disc contains a float filled with air due to which the animal floats.
- Oral disc contains several marginal tentacles.
- Skeleton is absent.
